Hello.

I have a HP EliteBook 8540p and can't add it to my HP profile on HP's website to get proper assistance. I can't even add it here on my profile. HP can't detect my device when I choose "Let HP detect your device". I have the original sticker under my Notebook with the serial and product numbers and codes. What can I do?

Hi:

 

It appears that HP has retired support for the model series which is why nothing happens when you try to access the support site or add the PC to your profile.

 

What is it that you need for your notebook?
