HP spectre x360 13-4136nl: 5CD6352BBX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I upgraded to win 10 ver 1903 with a clean installation, because original intallatioN had problems with win 10 upgrades.

After Installation, the keyboard and mouse are enabled/disabled @ opposite expected conditions. In particolar, when the angle between keyboard and screen is less than 180 degree  keyboard and mouse are disabled and screen is overturned.

From about 200 deg to 360 deg keyboard and touchpad is enabled.

I also installed ho suport assistant and al drivers are updated

Regards

Vincenzo

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Have you tried updating the system Bios?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8.

BIOS default:

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for posting back.

I recommend you uninstall HID sensor from device manager and restart the computer and check.

If the issue persists, follow the below steps and check.

  • Press Win + R -> type 'regedit' and enter
  • Registry editor will open up.
  • Goto path -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation
  • Check the value of Enable file if it is 0 rotation will be OFF if 1 rotation will be ON.
  • Restart and Autorotation will work.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

The procedure @point 1 doesn't work, because it was prepared for WIN xp and I have win 10, besides in the Intel setting we do not have the autorotation flag
