Hello, I want to add an SSD to my laptop but can not find any information about the slot included in my laptop (e0013nc 737Y0EA) all I have managed to find out is that there is a free 2280 M.2 slot but I do not know if it's gen 3 or gen 4, I would like to buy the proper SSD but hesitate to buy one not knowing the exact slot.
Would anyone know what generation the SSD slot is?
Thanks

Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that PCIe Gen 3.0 SSD's are supported in the model series.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
A PCIe Gen 4 SSD will work in either slot, but only at the Gen 3 speed.
Here's the link to the service teardown video:

Thank you for the reply, however the teardown video says that the right slot is gen 4 at 2:15 (www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUDl4XvvGkk&t=135), so I am a little bit confused on if that is true.

You're very welcome.
I'm not sure that the video is correct.
The AMD processor specs for your notebook indicate that the PCIe connectivity is Gen 3.
