Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The fan in this otherwise-perfect laptop/workstation is often noisy and occasionally generates warnings from the system that it will shutdown to prevent overheating. Other times the system runs normally although I can usually hear a little noise from the fan. Unfortunately, HP says there is no available replacement; it has been discontinued. I've inspected the fan to the best of my ability and I do not see any debris causing this noise/issue.

 

I assume this fan assembly includes a tachometer function. Where can I get a replacement fan that will function normally? This workstation is too good to discard.
