HP x2 210 G2 battery connector pin layout

My HP is from 2018 but still lovely but .... no charging on usb-C so (nearly) dead battery (still some blinking caps-lock led and charging led blinking 3 times (short-short-long)). So, searching for clues: detach battery and trying to find out the pin-layout of that connector (black-black-green-red-red-red-blue(?)- yellow-white-black  seen from position in/on pc-board) for measuring/charging with (intelligent) lipo-li-ion-etc. charger. Waiting for Lenovo-female-square-plug to usb-C male plug for testing if charging-board is dead (must do that with battery disconnected). Any help will be appreciated sincerely!!

WOW ... it is alive !!!

For 3-4 minutes but when I inserted a usb-stick to re-install windows 10 it had to few volts to continue.

Now back to recharge the battery which had, on measuring, a little more than 7 volts.

But, I am very, very stubborn and very, very glad it came up with message about restore point not found.

I am amazed by the superb quality of HP!!

Battery 100%, after some 20 charge a little then test then full throttle charge some 80 minutes

clean install of windows 10 (I save all windows iso's ...)

windows is cray so tomorrow another clean install (if that ever is possible with windows)

I am delighted that my HP x2 210 is working again!!!

2024-11-23 and I can confirm that all is well; I installed windows 10 22H2 (older iso is no longer supported by microsoft concerning anti-virus protection !!, 22H2 is). Installed HP-drivers for HP-X2-210-G2 and all is working well.

I want to re-iterate that HP is QUALITY!!, wow!! Lovely notebook, a little bit slow (no problem, so am I..).

I ordered a USB-C mouse from Amazon because I often need usb-stick in USB-2 connector (Okay, bluetooth is working but USB-stick is faster).  Battery-live is great (after 6 (six) years!!. Again: great!

Concluding: it was a delightful job to revive a (very) "dead" HP-X2-210-G2!!

(windows 11? I do not care...)
