I have had no issues with my Pavilion x360 13" model for awhile until the last 4 weeks. Everytime I close the lid and it goes to sleep, it seems to disable the touchpad. I do not have a USB mouse attached and I have disabled the option to disable when a mouse is connected. I like to keep the touchpad active.
The driver is updated, so why touchpad always disabling itself after in sleep mode?
To turn it back on I open the Synaptics ClickPad settings and disable and reenable to get the touchpad working again.

Greetings @danieln123,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that when you close the lid or put the computer to sleep the touchpad gets disabled, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Have you tried to update all the drivers using HP Support Assistant?
Open device manager by doing a right-click on the Windows button.
Expand Mice and other pointing devices and uninstall the touchpad.
Delete the driver when prompted during uninstall.
Restart your computer and check.
If the issue persists, install the touchpad driver from this link and check.
Keep me posted. Good Luck.
