One of my Spectre X360 14t-ea000's CPU fan is starting to fail as there's a grinding noise when it is spinning, and at low speeds(according to the other CPU fan that spins fine) it completely doesn't spin, I only hear a faint whining sound. Since my laptop is now out of warranty I would like to get a replacement CPU fan to replace the failing one, but I can't figure out the exact model of just the CPU fan. I could find the HP part number of the entire fan + heatsink unit, but that's expensive and I don't need to replace the entire cooling unit.

It would help me greatly if anyone can give me the exact model of the CPU fan.

Or which fan can I buy as a replacement? Will 14T-EF series work? Or can I get a link to where to buy a fan that will work?

Hi @pelumifagbemi,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that your HP Spectre X360 14t-ea000's CPU fan is making a sound.

May I know if you have updated the BIOS driver and checked the Official HP® Support?

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.
