HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0055tx

I am customer of one of the best computer manufacturing company “M/s HP” and I own Laptop model X360 -14 cd0055tx. I purchased this laptop in Oct 2019 with 3 years warranty (1 year + 2 year extended through HP care) . I found suddenly on dated 17.10.2022, that the Display touch screen is coming out from right side from clamp automatically. I also noticed that one of the screw from display came out from inside which might hold the touch screen to the back side panel. However, the laptop screen/touch panel is working properly but it is difficult to fold the laptop.  It is to mention  that I have used/handled the laptop as per recommendation of HP notebook handled with too much care and it is never fallen even accidently.

I am surprised that all these things happened exactly after expiry of warranty (1 +2 =3 year) on 16.10.2022. I approached to nearby service centre regarding the issue at Trichy (Wipro Skypro Technologies- 620017) on 19.10.2022 and the agency suggested to replace the entire LED touch panel without going for any rectification/repair and they estimated spare cost approx. Rs. 29500/. It may be noted that this cost is approx. 42 % of purchase cost. (Invoice Rs. 72,990/- . This is the cost which I have to pay for quality issue which shouldn t occur.

 

In this context, M/s HP, being a reputed company and dedicated for customer satisfaction based business, I humbly request to look into it and arrange to repair my Laptop display issue free of cost considering the quality issue of x360 laptop hinges. I read in the community and found so many similar cases.
