Product: Pavilion 15-AU023CL
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The left hinge just snapped on my daughter's HP15 laptop.  The laptop is out of extended warranty by a few months, so I am out of luck there.  It seems like this is a recurring problem - I bought the same laptop at the same time for my niece and she had the same left hinge snap.  Two HP15's, two left hinges broken.  I'd like to stay loyal to HP, but with this break rate I may need to look elsewhere.  Will HP provide gratis support even though this is out of warranty?  Or I'd like some sort of compensation toward a new laptop.  Please help.
