I've got a HP 15 f039 notebook/laptop.I'm going to install a Samsung 850 Evo 500 Gb.SSD & am interested in upgrading the CPU from a Celeron n2830 to a Mobile Pentium a1020. It just came out in January & looks like it was engineered as an upgrade for the Celeron. What I wanna know is, will the board handle the extra 2.5 watts it consumes "fuses & capacitors",will goin' from dual core to quad core create any new issues, will there be any heat issues & ofcourse, know where I can get one? I'm thinkin' the power I save with the SSD can be applied to the new CPU. I wanna only take it apart once so I gotta know. Ive found that when I get around too much online & pick up adware & stuff the Celeron acts up like the n2820 "driver glitches" until I do a scan&clean. I like this note book & wanna fix it up.( both CPUs use the same socket)

Hi,
Your machines uses : 2.16GHz Intel Celeron N2830 Processor with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.41GHz
Processors is attached to the system board (or soldered) therefore it is NOT upgradable or you have to buy new motherboard and this could be more expensive than buying the machine itself.
Regards.
