I'm trying to upgrade the RAM on my HP250 laptop and the bottom cover refuses to come off. I've followed the HP250G6 manual to the letter and followed a video tutorial where this problem doesn't appear to exist. Taken out all 9 screws (inc. those under the , pried open the latches on all sides of the bottom cover, and it seems to be stuck in the middle somewhere whenever I try to get the bottom cover completely off. It's as if it is glued in the middle or there's a screw I can't see. Is there something I'm missing? I don't want to use too much force and end up breaking the laptop.

After that, you have to use a tool to prying at the front of the computer. The third blue on the following set is the one you need

You can use a similar one around your house.

I didn't see a valid Model number or Product ID so we could look up the service manual. It would have instructions on how to open it.

Quite a few may have a plastic cover over one screw to obviously mess with consumers trying to open their laptops. You are correct that not much force is needed once the screws are out.
