HP 350 G2 Notebook PC

My HP350 keyboard has suddenly developed several non-workng keys. i've run the diagnostics which confirms it. it's mainly on the right half but both the ALT keys don't work either.

Any clues? Thanks.

Did you happen to have inadvertently spilled some tea or other liquid with sugar on the keyboard?

That will cause  what you have described to happen.

Thanks for that. I thought of that, but in fact the laptop hadn’t been opened since I set it up in January for my missus. It’s sat on a table in a bedroom with some stuff on it unopened until today (well yesterday now).

If you connect a USB external keyboard and all of the keys work, you will have to resign yourself to needing to have the laptop's keyboard replaced.

Good  suggestion. I’ll try that. Is the keyboard replaceable?

Fantastic. Thank you for the confirmation and the Guide link which I've downloaded & stored. Bought a new replacement keyboard off eBay tonight for no money (£18.45) and have reasonable hopes that this will deal with the issue with almost no pain!

Thanks again - much appreciated.
