HP 355 G2 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It seems like for whatever memory you use the HP355G2 will not go into dual channel model even though the HP Service Manual states clearly that it supports Dual Channel feature.

The current Bios for this device is  Insyde F.12 Rev A Pass 1 released  8/03/2016. At that time the Bios only supported Operating Systems Window7 and Windows 8 and the various versions within these OS's.  No mention anywhere as to whether HP updated the Bios for Windows 10.  Although, the HP355G2 runs windows rather nicely without many problems, I suspect the BIOS needs to be updated for Windows 10.  If anybody finds an updated Bios for this machine please post. I know I had a service agreement with HP  for my HP355G2 when Windows 10 came out which I immediately installed, and tried to upgrade to dual channel memory which failed to work properly. Sooo, maybe the solution to this problem lies in an old bios not compatible with windows 10?????
