I would appreciate if someone can advice if I can upgrade hard disk on Elitebook 820 G3 to a  WD_BLUE SN570 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 NVMe ?

If this was not possible what is the fasted 1GB upgrade that the Elitebook 820 G3 can use? Thanks for your help.

@hock1

Its specs

       https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04913012#AbT11

It ONLY has options for M.2 2280 SATA-3 TLC Solid State Drive  . M.2 NVMe won't work.

Regards.

Thank you Banhien for the time you took to answer my question,

I am utterly confused at your reply because I had separately contacted WD, and their tech department said the WD_Blue SN570 would work with the HP 820.

Also I had looked on the web,

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1152550/Hp-Elitebook-820-G3.html?page=11#manual

and found in the  " "HP EliteBook 820 G3 Quickspecs " where (see p11) the following is shown as possible Mini Card Solid State Drives:

Mini Card Solid State Drive
M.2 (NGFF) 2280 Solid State Drive
128 GB SATA-3 TLC Solid State Drive
180 GB SATA-3 MLC Solid State Drive
180 GB SATA-3 Self-Encrypting (Opal 2) MLC Solid State Drive
240 GB SATA-3 MLC Solid State Drive
256 GB SATA-3 TLC Solid State Drive
256 GB SATA-3 Self-Encrypting (Opal 2) MLC Solid State Drive
256 GB PCIe-3x4 NVMe Solid State Drive                   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
512 GB SATA-3 TLC Solid State Drive

Would you mind having a look at this discrepancy in the conflicting information for me please?

Regards and thank you very much in advance,
