Hello. I have the HP ENVY x360 laptop. The warranty just expired in July. Never had to use it because I try to take very good care of my laptop. However, last night when I went to shut my laptop it seemed like something was stopping it from being shut when I gently opened it back up, I realized that in the bottom left corner of my screen was popped open? It was unattached from the laptop and ended up cracking the bottom left area of the screen!! After doing some research, I believe it's a hardware problem with the envy360 laptops hinges and it seems to be a very common issue with the number of complaints I've read about it. Please can someone help me with what to do, I do all my work on this laptop, and usually have to travel with it but I currently can't bring it anywhere because I'm scared of causing any more damage. Figures this happens once the warranty expires. Could someone please help me get this issue resolved as quickly as possible without a hefty repair cost??
HP - Please raise awareness on this issue as it doesn't seem like anyone's fault but HP's. We pay enough money for these laptops just to wind up having to pay even more money towards repairs for something that's not our fault.
