Hey @ChrisB4,
It is typically pre-installed with most new Hewlett-Packard computers. The primary executable is named HPAdvisor.exe. It does not come with the HP Support Assistant.
Thanks.

Hi thanks again, I haven't missed HP Advisor but don't know what it does. When you advised to uninstall HP Assistant and reinstall it, as it was HP Advisor that was giving high CPU utilisation I uninstalled that as well. HP Advisor didn't reappear with HP Assistant installation (which you just confirmed is expected) and the good news CPU usage now does not seems adverse. Your advise as to whether HP Advisor will give me anything HP Assistant does not would be appreciated. Rgds, Chris

Hi @ChrisB4,
I feel that you can get everything you need from the HP Support Assistant. HP Advisor does check the heath of the PC. But inside the HP Support Assistant has that installed in it now.
Hope this helps address the concerns you have.
