Hello,

I have an HP Stream 14" Laptop Intel Celeron N3060 1.6GHz 4GB RAM 32GB eMMC Windows 10.  I purchased a Sandisk Ultra SDHC 1 (32GB) for expansion.  The card fits into the reader and is read, everything works fine...except, it doesn't seem to go in all the way and doesn't click into place.  I've pushed it in as far as it will go, and it still sticks out 1//4 inch or so and like I said, doesn't click into place.  As I'll be using this machine for school and travel, I would really like the card to be secure!

Can anyone tell me if this is normal for the card to stick out and not click?   Do I need an older card?  I was looking at a post earlier where a link was provided to an amazon page and the card recommended was listed as "old generation"  But now I can't find that page again!!!  Do I need an older card to fit into the slot properly and click into place?

thanks in advance

@jesshaines,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

In order to provide you with accurate information which should help you with this issue. I would need to know the correct product number of your HP notebook.

Could you provide me with the exact model of the PC? Use this link to find it:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Have you tried to check if this card works fine on another computer? Alternatively, have you tried to use another card and check if it works on this PC.

Waiting for your response!

Regards,
