HP Notebook - 15-db1001ua

Hello HP Support,

I would like to report a serious safety-related incident involving my HP laptop (Model: HP 15-db1001ua, Product ID: 7BK84EA#A2Q, Serial Number: Removed), purchased in Ukraine on March 11, 2020 in Eldorado Store in Kyiv.

Recently, the internal HT03XL battery suffered a severe failure overnight while the laptop was powered off. I discovered that the entire inside of the device was soaked with liquid — clearly caused by a battery leak. The device is now completely destroyed. No external liquid was involved.

I am aware that HT03XL batteries have been subject to recall in the past. While I know the warranty has expired, I believe this qualifies as a **safety-relevant defect**, and I am requesting review and escalation of the case.

Photos of the damage and battery are available.

Thank you,
