Hi, I have a Pavilion 15-bc019nl, with a HGST Travelstar 7K1000 HTS721010A9E630 (0J22423) 1TB 7200 RPM but I can't find the right driver.

Greetings @dona97mmm,

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking for the driver for a Travelstar 7K1000 HDD.

Don't worry, I will be glad to help.

However for me to be able to assist you, I would require more information.

How is the HDD connected to your computer? (internal or external)

Is the HDD listed in BIOS?

Have you checked for the HDD in device manager or disk management?

Have contacted HGST for the drivers?

If the computer is booting to the desktop, please do a right-click on the Windows button and open disk management.

In disk management, check if the HDD is detected.

If it is detected, please do a right-click on the HDD and format the HDD.

Refer to this HP Article for assistance.

Let me know if this helped, for further assistance, please provide the requested information.

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Please give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accepted Solution" and "Kudos" buttons,

That’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!

It is an internal HDD, with a SATA connection. Yes, It is detected by Windows and by the BIOS (Windows is running on it). Yes, I have tried to contact HGST for the driver but with no results. The current driver is a generic Windows driver but is much more slower than his true specs.

Thanks for the reply and providing more information. There are not additional drivers required for any internal HDD. Just run HP Support Assistant to update all the drivers on your computer automatically. Click here for assistance.

Hope this helped.
