Hi,

I have a 14-df0004ns Laptop and I want to upgrade my hard disk. In Windows it says it's a SanDisk DA4064. I have opened the laptop but haven't seen it.

If there is a hard disk,  I want to replace it with a 500gb SSD Crucial Mx500.

Thanks

Hi:

Your notebook comes with a 64 GB eMMC drive.

That is a little flash memory drive (much like a SD card) and cannot be upgraded, nor can an additional drive be installed.

Whoops, I'll have to buy an external hard drive.

Thank you so much!

You're very welcome.

I have a 64 GB Micro SD card in my HP notebook that has a 64 GB eMMC drive that I keep my files on.

I suppose I could have installed a larger capacity drive, but 64 GB was sufficient for my needs.
