to make a long story short, my laptop fell off my desk and messed up the Hard Disk. 

 

i was wondering if i could get any help fixing my hard disk and if it is recoverable.
failure id is  in the imageIMG_20210303_220607.jpg

Hi:

 

You will have to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive, you can buy a USB to SATA cable, plug it into a working PC's USB port and see if you can read/copy any of your files from the damaged hard drive to the PC.

 

Something like this...

 

SATA to USB Cable, Benfei USB 3.0 to SATA III Hard Driver Adapter w/UASP Compatible for 2.5 inch HDD...

Since you have to replace the drive, you may want to consider replacing it with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
