My HP Laptop is 3 years old (Out of warranty) but now my hard disk has failed. My hard disk model is
HTS541010A9E680
p/n: 0J34283
Manufacturing Date mentioned is: MAY 14
As far as i know, HGST hard disks have 3 year warranty. Can I know whether my hard disk still in warranty and will it be replaced at authorized Service center?

If it is the hard drive that came with the laptop it only has an OEM warranty of 1 year same as the laptop so hard drive replacement is going to be at your expense. Post back if you want assistance with replacement, selecting and finding hard drive to buy and software migration or reinstallation. We would need to know where you live (country)?
