Hello! I am new to these forums, but I have a major issue.

I recently bought my new laptop only about 2 months ago. Recently (two days ago), I tried to reset my laptop (like a factory reset) because it was not loading properly especially after doing some update that was recommended by HP!! I had to force restart by holding the power switch and turning it back on and off because it would stay stuck. Due to that, after trying to reset the laptop and having it stuck at 48%, I decided to force switch the laptop on and off.

Now, I finished doing an extensive test on my laptop and it said that my Hard Drive Optimization DST Check is not available.

The other hard drive checks passed except the optimization dst check.

I'm not sure what I should do now! I bought this laptop only about 2 months ago and now I'm having issues with it.

Sounds like a hardware failure. You have a 1 year warranty. Get the Serial number from the bottom of the case or in BIOS and contact HP:
