Does the Omen 16inch Slim Gaming Laptop PC 16t- an000 support a Samsung 990 PRO 4TB capacity SSD M2 Hard drive ?

Hi:

 

Theoretically there is no limit to the storage capacity of the NVMe SSD you can install as long as the drive is single sided so that it fits in the M.2 slot.

 

The product specs indicate that HP offered PCIe Gen 4 x 4 drives in the model series so I can't think of any reason why a 4 TB drive such as the Samsung 990 Pro wouldn't work just fine.

The Crucial SSD report for the model series indicates that they sell NVMe SSDs up to 4 TB.

Just had the customer service respond apparently the 2tb is the highest it goes per slot  , then again would be interesting if someone tried installing a 4tb and ends up working according to what your saying , cause it would hurt buying a 4tb drive just to test . Thanks for the response though
