Hi, it says it comes with 1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

I need at least 3TB.  Is it possible to upgrade?  If so, how many memory slots are there?  What type are they?

I can't see anything about it anywhere here

Many thanks

@rustrfrog,

Your model comes with two M.2 slots that support M.2 NVMe gen4 (see chapter 1 of the manual).

This HP video shows two M.2 slots and may be of help for upgrade work.

You've got 2 questtions

1. Storage: The support value is huge bu due to physical size limit we only have up yo 4TB. No 3TB is available on market, they don't make them. We  only has 54GB the double it to 4TB now that means you can use 4TB which is available on market today. You need a single sided M.2 SSD otherwise too thick.

2. RAM: It has 2 slots of RAM with 32GB DDR5 now and you can upgrade to 64GB.

Your link has its manual:

         https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_10301542_en-US-1.pdf

which shows PRE-CONFIGURED machines, but you can add a bit more on the top them (more storage, more RAM) as mentioned above.

Regards.

Thanks for the quick reply.  So just to confirm, storage is just one m.2 slot that can take one 4 GB single sided M.2 SSD?

(Sorry I meant storage slots, rather than memory slots as 32 GB ram it comes with is plenty)

Cheers
