I'm sorry but that did not help in resetting my HP ENVY X360 CONVERTIBLE. Please I need to know how to reset it. I've tried holding power button for 15 seconds and tried holding power button for over a minute while taking f11 and nothing

Hi @butlerinyourfac,
Good Day. Thank you for taking an interest in the HP community. I understand that you require assistance with performing a hard reset on the X360 convertible. I will be really glad to assist you here. 🙂
Fabulous description and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. )
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Did you check the hard reset procedure for a notebook with a sealed battery?
- Why do you require to perform a hard reset?
- IS the computer working correctly?
For now, try these steps:
- Please follow the steps from this link: http://hp.care/2nwQ054 to perform a hard reset on the notebook. Follow the steps and instructions under the section “Reset a laptop with a sealed or non-removable battery” There is an associated video also. This type of reset is generic and common to all HP computers with a non-removable battery which includes your X360 notebook also.
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.
Take care now and have a superb week ahead. 🙂
