Welcome
I own a hp laptop and I want to update some internal parts such as the hard drive
Laptop specifications:
HP ProBook 450 G3 ProBook PC
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz
8GB Samsung 1600MHz
System board:
8101 KBC Version 40.73
The first question is what type of hard drive is in the m.2 port and does it receive or compatible with an NVME hard drive ?
The second question is what is the highest capacity of an m.2 hard drive that is allowed to be entered or received by the device ?
The third question, is it possible to replace the HDD that is mainly in the device with a STAT SSD 2.5
What is the highest capacity that the device receives or is allowed of this type ?

- If available, the M.2 slot supports SATA only, not NVMe.
- Size (capacity) is huge but due to its physical size, it supports 2280 M.2 format up to 2TB (some vendors may have 4TB but I don't know who)
- Yes, you can replace 2.5" SATA HDD with a standard 2.5" SATA SSD such as
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/870-evo-1tb-sata-3-2-5-ssd-mz-77e1t0bw/
Regards.
