Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0000 (9WF74AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My partner purchased an HP Pavilion laptop roughly 2 years ago. Two months ago the error first appeared, however it resolved itself after a restart. The error has cropped up again and has no sign of going away. In the system diagnostic tests it says that there is nothing installed, yet when I installed the SSD into another system, it was recognized just fine. I have tried updating the BIOS and UEFI utility, yet nothing has worked. There is no option for a "legacy boot" in the BIOS even after updating, so I have not been able to attempt that possible fix. The SSD is the original one from the factory and the computer has not been opened until just now.

 

Is there anything I could do other than looking for an extremely expensive secondhand motherboard replacement?
