Hi! @MissKhan1,

Please share the product number of the PC to assist you better.

Have you tried charging your laptop using a different adapter?

Were there any recent windows update on the PC?

Try performing a hard reset on your laptop and check if it helps.

Turn off the computer.
Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
For most laptops, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to reset.
If your laptop model is listed below, use the instructions specific to your computer.
Plug the AC adapter back into the laptop computer, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices.
Press the Power button to turn on the computer.
The computer starts normally or a startup menu opens.
If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, and then press the Enter key.
After Windows opens, reconnect each peripheral device that was disconnected, one device at a time, until all devices are reconnected.

Try updating the BIOS and chipset drivers on the PC to the latest version and check if it helps.

You can update the drivers on the PC using the HP support assistant.

Refer this article to know more information about using the HP support assistant. Click Here

Also, try the steps recommended below.

Run Power Troubleshooter.

On Cortana, enter  Troubleshooter then select Troubleshooting.
Click Improve power usage to open the window, then click Next.
This should run the troubleshooter and can fix any detected issues. You may try restarting your computer and charge your battery again.

Also, Open the Device Manager by searching for it or right-clicking the Start button and selecting Device Manager.
Click Batteries on the list to expand it and you should see two items: Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.
Right-click on each item and choose Uninstall device. Yes, you are uninstalling your laptop's battery drivers, but don't worry because they will automatically be reinstalled when you restart your laptop.
Restart the laptop and check if the issue persists.

Lastly, try running a battery and hard drive extensive test from the component test under system diagnostics page and check if the hardware is functioning correctly.

My loptop is HP omen . Model 15-ax001ne. Product ID - Y5J30EA#ABV

no I haven’t changed or tried any other charger.

My laptop used to hang sometimes. Like total hang. Which could only get set by shutting off by power button.  But this time its not starting at all. I have tried unplugging all devices, I’ve tried unplugging too but when unplugged, it doesn’t even start.

It doesn't have removable battery.

Not so sure About updates but i thinkkkk there were some.

For hard reset laptop need to be start and then f12 key. But mu laptop doesn’t stay on more than 2 to 3 seconds. How can i update anything  or run diagnostic when it doesn’t stay on for more than 3 seconds  😔

Hi! @MissKhan1,

Thanks for the update.

Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?

Try restoring the BIOS to default and try again.

1.    Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
2.    Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
3.    On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
4.    Press F10 to Save and Exit.
5.    Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
6.    Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

If you have issues accessing the BIOS or F2 page from the PC, it is a hardware issue with the PC.
