I'm using Omen HP Laptop 15-dh0xxx, with the original installed RAM of DDR4 16GB (8GB x 2) 2666mhz. My processor is Intel Core i7 9750H CPU @2.60GHz. How much disk space (hard disk size) I can upgrade to? Now I am having 512GB SSD.
I was checking Amazon and there are many variants od M.2 nvme SSDs. I am concerned of the
1. SSD Generation: There are many like 3*4 gen, 4*4 gen.
2. Speed: 5000MB/sec, 5200, 7150 MB/sec.
I want to upgrade to 1TB SSD. Can you please let me know if i have to check for all of these things before purchasing it. which generation and speed I should purchase? Whether my laptop can support anything and I can purchase the best one available?
Please share few Amazon links of 1TB SSD which my laptop can support. Thanks!

You indicated in this discussion that you wanted to upgrade to a 1 TB drive.
Your notebook's M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.0, a Gen 4.0 SSD will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the slot.
This table shows the maximum transfer speeds each PCIe slot generation can provide:

If you want a recommendation for a Gen 3.0 SSD, I'd get this one:
I have the above model, and I am very pleased with its performance.
If you want a Gen 4.0 SSD, that again, will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from a Gen 3 slot, I'd get this one:
You could use it in a newer notebook in the future that has a Gen 4.0 NVMe slot and it is actually less expensive than the Samsung 980 right now.
