Hello, my 2.5 year old gaming desktop suddenly started having weird crackling noises when CPU/GPU use gets higher. It was not loud and only showed up after I started a game for a few minutes. I initially thought it was a fan problem or a loose screw, but after I cleaned up the fans and vents, the noise was still there.
I ran a system check and it failed Hard drive/SSD short DST check.
The error code is : RLR09W-B1WCAX-QF8X01-60TV03.
I am backing up my files right now. My question is since the noise was not present when I do not game, do I have to replace the SSD? Could it be any other issues? Is there any other tests I can run to figure out what the problem is? And if I do want to hire a professional to help me solve this problem, is local best buy a good place to go? The mfg warranty already expired but I got my desktop from bestbuy.
Thanks in advance!!

Heat is the main enemy of electronic components. Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced.. Is it still under warranty ? If NOT, you have to replace yourself then rebuild your machine.
For (original) Windows 10/11. please use Cloud Recovery tools
