I have a laptop G72 B60us that needs the 10 pin hdd/sata ribbon/cable and cannot find it! Need model# to help search or a web address.  Thanks in advance   James

Does the Service Manual otherwise look right? Because that is the hard drive conector in the Manual HP has posted for your specific model. Do you have a picture?

You need this part:

 

Hard drive hardware kit (not illustrated, includes connector, bracket, and screws) 615086-001

 

Service Manual

Thanks for the reply----but that cable is a snap on not a ribbon.  The motherboard for this laptop is

I apologize to the whole HP community! I have 2 hp laptop down and was giving the wrong model-----very sorry.  After looking for the correct model I found the cable.   Thanks to everyone that help this 75 year old person.   James Pack
