Hi @shrabon21,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand your concern about your 1TB hard drive (ST1000LM035-1RK172) not showing up on your laptop. Since you need the information stored on it, let’s go through the possible options:
Basic Checks
Enter BIOS/UEFI → Restart your laptop and press Esc / F10 / F2 (varies by model). See if the HDD is detected there.
Check in Disk Management → Press Win + X → Disk Management. If the drive appears without a letter or as “Unallocated,” it may still be accessible.
Check Connections → If possible, reseat the HDD in the laptop (remove and reinsert securely).
External Testing
Remove the HDD and connect it via a SATA-to-USB enclosure/adapter to another computer.
If it’s detected, you can copy your data immediately.
I hope this helps.

I was unable to reseat the hard drive in the laptop. I checked every way you were told without reseat. But it didn't work.
Could you please guide me on how to reseat the HDD?
NB:
Once there was a message when I checked the failure ID of that.
There was the support status

Thank you for the recommendation.
Did you check my Laptop status?
I hope you will check it from the previous message. I can brief you here that my warranty has expired. Sometimes, when I restart my laptop, an interface of Intel Rapid Storage Technology. There showed my laptop HDD on the SMART Event.
There, I attached the link again, please check it-

@shrabon21, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query.
My colleague @Kuroi_Kenshi is currently out, but don't worry – I’ll be taking over and making sure we get this sorted for you.
Thank you for reaching out and providing the details about your laptop. I understand how concerning it must be to see that the SMART event indicates issues with your HDD, especially with the warranty having expired.
However, please note that as part of our policies, we are unable to assist with the recovery of personal files from your HDD. Data recovery from a failing drive is considered a personal task, and unfortunately, we are not authorized to recover or transfer any personal data from your device.
That said, I would recommend connecting the HDD to another working computer or using an external HDD enclosure. This way, you can transfer your important files to a safe location before any potential issues worsen.
For the future, I also recommend regularly backing up your files to avoid such situations.
