Actually my hard-disk is showing smart error and now it doesn't even boot sometimes,it says boot device not found. Is my motherboard ok or the problem is with hard-disk only.if I need to replace my HDD i'll prefer SSD.My laptop supports SATA interface. Is there some minimum requirement that for my laptop ssd should have 160 GB of space?please recommend me some good ssds in range of 100-200 GB space. Also please provide the manual for setup for ssd.
My laptop details -
HP pavilion 15af114AU
Please tell me the ssd specs for this laptop.

Hi,
The problem is with the drive and it needs to be replaced.
If you can still boot into PC, you should copy all important personal files to external drive.
There is not a minimum amount of space needed for the SSD. I would get at least a 250GB 2.5" SSD such as the Samsung 860 evo.
Example:
On page 40 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04653881
You will need to reinstall the Windows 10. I would perform a clean install. You will need to download the media creation tool from Microsoft (on different computer if yours does not boot), run and create a bootable pendrive with the OS on it. Here is link to Microsoft page where you can download and also explanation of the process:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
This will be the latest edition of Windows 10. You will use this drive to perform install. After installation, let Windows completely update (connect to internet) and find all or most drivers. You can follow this process by going into settings > security and update > cliuck on Verify for updates. You might need to reboot a couple of times.
If there are any missing drivers after completely updating, you can download from HP support page for your model:
