Microsoft Windows 11

My hard drive has 10% life left. I ran the quick diagnostic test and it failed. I'll have to get a new hard drive. Would HP sell one?

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

Short summary => Drive must be replaced.

 

(1) The specification is:

Hard drive
512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

(2HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support ( drive will be replaced )

 

(3HP warranty expired:

Service is required !
- [Always recommended] The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- [Always recommended] Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Replace drive

- General cleaning ...

 

You should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store. You have to pay service and new drive.

 

(4Reinstallation of operating system:

You need another computer to prepare usb flash drive to install windows
