Hi,

I have a 1TB hard drive but for some reason it's not being used as my laptop has been warning that the system is running out of memory. Everytime I try to upload a document or picture, there'll be a warning message that there isn't enough memory.

The hard drive is recognized as 'Data' and shows on my computer but it's not used. Does anyone has an idea what's going on?

Thanks

Can you maybe make a screen shot of the disk management console in computer management:

Of course.

OK you have a 128 gig solid state drive and a 1 TB regular hard drive designed to be used for storage. You have to put stuff on that "Data" disk yourself.Nothing is automatically going to put it there. One way to do it is to move the location of the "Library" files (docs, downloads, pictures, etc.) to that drive. Easy to do and should free up some space on the 128 gig drive.
