My passport external hard drive not detected on hp 15s-fq5xxx and dos't appear in Device Manager or disk management , but the same drive with the same cable work on another Toshiba and dell laptop an work with several type of smart screen.
When i go to setup screen and make test for USB, i get failure iD :U8ALWK-BL5BL7-MFPXOK-8D0S03.
i try to use another usb port and make the previous test again the same failure iD appear too.
I also changed the cable, but it does not work.
I looked at all the similar cases mentioned on the site and did not come to any results.

I see that you are facing issues with your HP 15.6 Inch Laptop PC 15-D5000 (4V9Y3AV) wherein the external hard drive is not detected.
This could be a hardware issue with the USB port on the unit and may need repair.
I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
Note: Select your country from the dropdown, enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.
