Hi, I turned my laptop on this morning and It will not boot up I keep getting a hard disk error message but I'm not sure what that even means or what I need to do to fix it? It has always been a very reliable laptop never had problems like this in the past however I'm not very technical so I am struggling. I have looked on youtube for advice but I have no idea what I'm doing. Any help explaining to me what is actually wrong with it and what I need to do or how I can resolve would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi:

 

The error code means that you will have to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
