I am interested in buying an HP Envy X360 15-CN0008 laptop but need more that 256GB which is the size of the SSD drive that it comes with. I would be fine with a traditional hard drive or a dual drive setup. i have a fair amount of technical experience but had a look at this computer in a local store and rather than having a hatch on the bottom or a number of screws around the perimeter there is only one tiny screw that looks to be a torx. The information on the HP website mentions this model has dual drive support but am unsure if that means there is sufficient room for two drives or that it will support either an SSD or a traditional Hard Drive. I also searched the knowledge base and while it covers installing or changing a hard drive in a number of different computers it does not show this particular model and the ones it does show are the normal ones you find where there is a dozen or more screws on the bottom so it is pretty obvious how it comes apart. The 15-cp0008 Envy X360 appears to be the identical computer only with an AMD processor. It also comes with a 1 TB hard drive so would be ideal except I would prefer the Intel processor instead of the AMD. So after all of that does anyone know how to open up this model to add or change a hard drive or have a link to a video or explanation on how to open up this model? \thank you

You can ADD 2.5" HDD or SSD upto 2TB to your computer and you need 2 more parts
The hard drive cable is available using spare part number L21894-001
The hard drive rubber sleeve is available using spare part number L20103-001.
Unfortunately all parts with prefix L are mot available now but you can ask an HP authorized service providers to work this out for you or you have to wait few more months, parts would be available on market.
The following manual shows you from screw to screw to open your machine. You can do this AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Regards.

In a post above it was mentioned
“Unfortunately all parts with prefix L are mot available now but you can ask an HP authorized service providers to work this out for you or you have to wait few more months, parts would be available on market.”
Hiw would an authorized service centre work this out if the parts are not available? I would really like to get the parts immediately if there is some way to do it.
thanks again.
