I am using a HP 15-fd0084wm laptop and I want to upgrade it's 128 GB storage drive .. although when upgrading it's a ram from 4 GB to 16 GB, I didn't see a SATA or M.2 slot. Although with the M.2 it is possible for it to be on the back.. I was curious if it is possible to upgrade the storage drive, or if I'll have to settle with a ultra slim usb a.

It is not possible to upgrade the internal storage in that model.
It comes with a 128 GB Universal flash storage (UFS) drive that is an integral part of the motherboard.
Below is the link to the service manual:
Chapter 3 shows the motherboard part numbers for the models with 128 GB UFS drives.
There is no M.2 slot on the other side of the system board.
