Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I see you need help with Microphone place on your HP notebook. Don't worry I'll be glad to help you.

 

I did go through the Product Specification of your PC and found that it's a headphone/microphone combo jack available on your PC, Here's the link.

 

Alternatively, you can also go through the Maintenance and Service guide of your notebook and look under Chapter 2 External component identification and then scroll down to page number 12 Left Side.

 

Note: Option no. 7 which is circled in blue is the headphone/microphone combo jack
