Hi,

This is my laptop (link below) and I need to upgrade my 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard disk HDD ( HGST HTS541010A9E680) to SSD.

HP ENVY Notebook - 15-ae041nr (ENERGY STAR) Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

Kindly suggest me the compatible SSD & any other connectors needed. Thanks.

You can use any standard 2.5" SATA SSD for example

 

         https://cplonline.com.au/samsung-mz-77e2t0bw-870-evo-2tb-2-5-sata-iii-6gb-s-v-nand-ssd.html

 

No need new connector and thickness spacer because machine Ssupports for 6.35-cm (2.5-in) SATA hard drives in 7.0-mm (.28-in) and 9.5-mm (.37-in) thickness
