Hello,

I would like to know wheter my compured does support software acceleration or not. According all the instruction (also found here in HP forum

  1. Choose Start > Control Panel.
  2. Double click Personalization and select Display Settings.
  3. Click Advanced Settings.
  4. Click Change Settings on the Troubleshooting tab.
  5. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Enable.

I do not have the "Troubleshooting tab" bookmark there...

I tried to access BIOS and find there if there would be any "enableing" button but I did not find any. My BIOS version is "S79 Ver.01.07.01 11/05/2021".

Reason why I am asking for this that during using the WMware Workstation is not so fluent and fast working and It was recommended me to turn it on.

Thank you fou your help/answer.

Hello @MaraVe .
Check if you can enable hardware acceleration from the graphics panel of your computer.

The other option is to use virtualbox as it is much more user friendly and consumes a little less resources.

Hello @GOLD_MASTER,

thank you for your reply. This option I've already tried but there is noting to "turn on". I do not have any possibility to set anything there - unfortunately.

So If I am not mistaken then my ntb does not allow any "hardware acceleration", yes?

Thank you for the tip of Virtualbox. I will try this since the WMware is a lot slowing my ntb down 😞
