I have an HP Chromebook. I wanted to know if a flickering screen is a software or hardware issue? I have tried updating, power wash and hard reset, but nothing worked. Sometimes it is normal then it begins to flicker or just black out at the lightest tap or movement. I would like to send it in for repairs if its a hardware issue. How can I send in my laptop for repairs? HP doesn't seem to have a system for allowing customers to send in products for testing and repairs unless you live near a store and can bring the product in person.

Could be hardware. In my case, the screen of my machine flickering too much. HP support online (Whatsapp) could not fix it and after a week or so an HP engineer (my machine is a business class machine with onsite warranty) came to my house to replace the screen. Problem fixed since then.
