I purchased the HP Pavilion Laptop 14-ck0xxx to replace and old HP laptop which also had the same issues with the hinges breaking after time. Laptop was purchased in 2018 and the warranty has expired.
The hinges have began to separate the screen from the centre cover control, affecting the charging port and now the HDMI input and USB. Really disappointed with the quality of both these laptops, and this is my third hp laptop (the other one was damaged mother board and unable to repair) - and I will not be buying an hp again due to these ongoing issues. I will look for better quality elsewhere.
