You need to replace the drive. Is it still under warranty?
If not then a disassembly video is here
You have client cloud recovery
Download this application using a windows system that you have administrator access to. You will need a 32gb flash drive
According to the spec you have a 256gb M.2 drive. You might want to replace it with a 1tb drive
The m.2 drives are solid state and rarely fail. Have you run diagnostics to see if any other problems?
Tap the ESC key after powering on and press F2 to run diagnostics.
Do not allow any updates if disk or memory fail, especially a BIOS update.

Let me know what the above calculates and I might be able to help you better.
You may need to replace the drive or possibly only need to do a scan/repair.
Please provide the Product ID or Model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol. This code may be needed to find cloud recovery files.

This is the response I got from that: IMPORTANT: The test found a problem with your hard drive and it may need to be replaced. If possible, back up your personal files to a flash drive or external hard drive as soon as you can. Laptop model is: HP ProBook x360 440 G1 Notebook PC, Product ID is: 4WU43EA#ABU

Have you been able to obtain files from the drive? I can recommend a forensic app to get the data.
Have you tried diagnostics to test for any other failures?

I've everything off the drive yes, when I did a test through the BIOS is came up with a battery failure as well but that seems to have sorted It's self as it hasn't came up after doing the same test a few times.

You might look at a battery report for anything suspicious
Please run the battery report and post the summery if you have questions about it.
you run the battery report by bringing up the administrator command window and running
powercfg/batteryreport |
as shown below
After entering that explorer line you should see something like the following. You will have to click on it as it is long
http://stateson.net/docs/SP4_battery-report.html
You can use the WindowsKey + shift + S to copy and paste a small image if you want.
Battery should last about 5 years but less for gaming systems. Have you done a battery calibration?.
