My HP 15s-du2004TU is the laptop I bought in 2020. It's been 4 years since I have been running this PC with a 10+sec BIOS time. It's too slow as it has 4GB RAM and 1TB HDD (Can't even run 4 tabs in chrome without going "NOT RESPONDING"). Yeah, there's no fault in HP btw. It's my fault to be honest as I had a low budget and I get embarrassed every time my friend comes home and asks if I had any video games, and the ultimate embarrassment is when they see my PC. So, thought I would at least get some SSD and RAM and so I had the question if "MY PC WILL SUPPORT IT'? I don't have the budget to buy a Pavilion or something 🙂 and every day I imagine if HP could have given their best laptops like OMEN or PAVILION. :] How dumb I am. 😞 Please someone reply to this fast and HP, I request you to give me a Pavilion ot Omen for free:_(

Hi:
Your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2666 MHz memory.
Your notebook has a M.2 SSD slot that supports the much faster performing NCNe SSDs.
HP only has the service manual for the original 15s-du0xxx model series available, but it should be of help to you for opening up the notebook to perform the upgrades.

The Intel i3 processor and onboard Intel graphics will not provide an enjoyable gaming experience, but the memory and SSD upgrade should help your PCF perform better with everyday tasks such as boot up time, surfing the web and whatnot.
