Hardware issues within a year but HP wont help with replacing the product or fixing the issue

I have a Deskjet that is nearly 3 year old BUT unopened until I unpacked and started using it Oct 2023.. So technically new and ONE year old. Last week the printer lost its connection to WIFI and started showing errors. Support after trying all the troubleshooting steps said it seems like hardware is broken.

I asked can you help replace? I even use the ink plan since I started using the product. He said I can buy a new printer or get all-in plan, after this kind of issue within a year how would i trust and get another HP, at least you could have helped with hardware issue.

I was okay if they want to take a look at my printer and get it fixed or take this and send me a new one. 

This is just disappointing from HP.

I would have to switch the product if I get no help.

I would not expect a company  to provide a free replacement or repair beyond the terms that existed when a product was purchased.

You have reasonable choices as offered by the service agent you spoke to.

You may flame me for the preceding statements, but they are based in reality.

The product did not last a full year. You can imagine my frustration.
