Hardware m.2 ssd Upgrade

Hello, please i am a newbie in the ssd hardware world, my computer has an m.2 slot empty but i am confused which it supports whether the m.2 sata, pcie x2 or m.2 nvme pcie x4 or the board can handle both in some cases like i heard. 

and what is the recommended ssd products you will choose for me to buy and the brand name?.

Your PC will support both M2 SATA3 SSD and M2 PCIe NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 970 Evo which is considered one of the best prize/performance SSDs.

You can see on page 41 of the service manual:

You will need to move the OS to the SSD for performance gain.
