At first only 5.9gb of ram was usable and the rest 2.1 was reserved for hardware. I researched and found the the only thing I can do is to add 1 more ram stick so I upgraded to 2x8gb ram but now was I added 1 more stick of 8 gb ram 10.1gb of ram is hardware reserved and only 5.9gb is usable now too
Pls tell me what to do I am so fed with this was 2k got wasted as the ram didn’t increased How can I removed this reserved ram.
tried removing the ram stick to check if the ram I order was faulty but it was alright

This is very typical in devices with AMD processors, I can only suggest you try to update the BIOS.

how to update in windows and in hp software it is showing as latest pls help me with this issue t
talk with hp technician about this or something else but pls help me fix this as i bought this ram after so much of struggle

This is usually only fixed by updating the BIOS, if HP makes changes to it that may force the hardware to not reserve memory, see if you have updated the BIOS.

If you have another more recent BIOS version, it was because it was updated through Windows Update.
You should not return to Windows 10, this will not change the reserved memory, this can only be done through the BIOS.

If you are under warranty, you can contact HP, but you will probably get the same answer.
